What Each Activity Page Is For
Activity's Overview, and its Activities, Fitness, and Time pages, and how to log a workout, a sauna, or your steps.
Updated
Activity, in the sidebar, is about how you move, how fit you are, and where your time goes.
Overview
The time you spent on each type of activity each day, stacked, then Activity’s Trends and any metrics out of range.
Activities
Your time by activity type over the chart’s range, then every activity, strength training set, and value you logged: workouts and sessions, steps, exercise minutes, cigarettes smoked, calendar events, and tracked time.
To log a workout or a session:
- Choose Log, then Activity.
- Choose its Type, such as running, cycling, yoga, sauna, cold plunge, or meditation, or leave it empty.
- Give it a Title if you like, such as “Morning run”.
- Set its Start and End, and choose Log.
Steps, exercise time, and the rest are each logged on their own, such as Step Count. Strength training is logged set by set: see Log Strength Training Sets.
Fitness
What your body can do, from benchmark tests such as VO₂ max, grip strength, or a 500 m row, each with your personal best. See Log a Fitness Test and See Your Personal Best.
Time
Time Use: where your hours go each day, from what’s already recorded: time asleep, time in each type of activity, tracked time, and time at home and at work from your places. Nothing is logged on Time itself; its values come from Sleep, Activities, and your location history.
