Install Kaizora as an App

Add Kaizora to your computer's dock or your phone's home screen from the browser, and use its icon's shortcuts to log, time, or search.

Updated

You can install Kaizora from your browser, so it opens in a window of its own, with its own icon, like any other app. It’s the same Kaizora, with the same account and data.

Install It

Open Kaizora in your browser and sign in, then:

  • Chrome or Edge on a computer: choose the install icon at the right of the address bar, or open the browser’s menu and choose Install (in Chrome, under Cast, save, and share).
  • Safari on a Mac: choose File › Add to Dock.
  • Safari on an iPhone or iPad: tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
  • Chrome on Android: open the menu (the three dots) and tap Add to Home screen or Install app.

Browsers rename these menus from time to time; if yours differ, search its help for “install a web app”.

Shortcuts on Its Icon

The installed app’s icon has four shortcuts:

  • Log, which opens Log over Home.
  • Start timer.
  • Timeline.
  • Search.

Right-click the icon in the taskbar or dock on a computer, or touch and hold it on Android, to see them. iPhones and iPads don’t show an installed web app’s shortcuts.

Good to Know

  • The installed app needs an internet connection to load pages you haven’t opened yet and to save anything. See What Works When You’re Offline.
  • Notifications show while the app is open, if you allow them in Settings › Notifications. See Choose Your Notifications.
  • Uninstall it as you would any app; your data stays in your account.
