Find Your Way Around Kaizora

What's in the sidebar, how each area's tabs work, and where to find Log, Search, the timer, notifications, and Settings.

Updated

Every page in Kaizora is at most two clicks away: the sidebar lists the areas, and each area’s pages are its tabs.

The Sidebar

  • Home shows how you’re doing at a glance. See What Home Shows.
  • Timeline lists everything you’ve recorded, newest first, grouped by day. See the Timeline.
  • Under Data, the five areas:
    • Health: Body, Vitals, Sleep, Hearing, Wellbeing, Symptoms, Menstrual Cycle, and Labs.
    • Nutrition: Food Log and Food Database.
    • Activity: Activities, Fitness, and Time.
    • Location: Location History and Air Quality.
    • Money: Transactions and Balances.
  • Under Insights, the pages that look across everything: Habits and Correlations.

At the bottom, the account menu, under your name, holds Settings, Data Sources, and Devices, then Keyboard shortcuts, Theme (light, dark, or the device’s, kept on each device), and Sign out.

The sidebar collapses to icons with the button at the top left of the header, or ⌘B (Ctrl+B). On a phone it opens as a sheet and closes when you choose a page.

An Area and Its Tabs

Each area opens on its Overview: the area’s most useful chart, then Trends, then any metrics out of range. Its other pages are tabs along the top. Each of those pages shows, in order:

  1. A chart or summary made for it, such as today’s totals on the Food Log or the map on Location History.
  2. History, its entries, newest first, each day in a card of its own under a heading such as Today, Yesterday, or Tue, Nov 3. Older days load as you scroll. See all data, beside the heading, opens a table of every entry. See Find, Fix, and Export Entries in a Table.
  3. Metrics, a line for each of its metrics you have a value of, out-of-range ones first. Each opens the metric’s page.

Some setup has a page of its own under its area rather than a tab, in the … menu at the top right of the area’s page: See Places under Location, and See Accounts under Money. Each is also at the end of the list wherever you pick a place or an account, and in Search. Every area’s header also has Learn more, which opens articles about the area’s metrics.

The Header

Across the top of every page:

Metrics

There are far too many metrics to list in the sidebar. Reach one from its page’s Metrics list, from a chart, or by searching for its name.
