A Value Looks Wrong

How to find where a value that looks wrong came from, and fix it, whether you typed it, imported it, or Kaizora calculated it.

Updated

Start by finding where the value came from. Open its metric’s page and choose See all data: each value shows its source (Manual, Imported, or Calculated) and the device that measured it.

You Typed It

Open its … menu, choose Edit, and correct it. A common slip is the unit: a weight typed as 180 with kilograms chosen instead of pounds. See Edit or Delete an Entry.

It Was Imported

An imported value can’t be edited, since the next import would bring it back. Instead:

Kaizora Calculated It

A calculated value follows what it’s calculated from, so fix the inputs:

  • Body mass index or basal metabolic rate: check your latest weight and height, and your date of birth and sex in Settings › General. Basal metabolic rate also depends on the BMR Formula you chose; Katch-McArdle needs a body fat value.
  • Net worth: check each account’s latest balance, and that money between your own accounts has the Transfer category on both sides. See Log Transactions and Set Their Categories.
  • Time at home or at work: check your places’ centres, radii, and categories. Gaps of more than 16 hours between locations aren’t counted, since your phone was more likely off.
  • Air quality exposure: it uses the newest reading within 100 metres in the hour before each of your locations. See Read the Air Quality Page and Your Exposure.

A metric’s About, on its page, says exactly what it’s calculated from.
